With the help of predictions, Chrome will be able to guess the name of the website that you want to visit by just adding a couple of starting words of the website onto the address bar. To disable this feature, click on the wrench icon located on the top right corner of the Chrome window and then click on the “Options” button. Select the “Under the hood” option and then remove the checkmark located next to “Use a Prediction Service to Help Complete Searches and URLs Typed in the Address Bar” option.
If you want to disable the enhanced error page feature, open the Chrome settings menu and then remove the check mark located next to the “Use a Web Service to Help Resolve Navigation Errors” option.
Google Chrome will warn the users when they are about to enter a potentially malicious website. This safe browsing feature can be disabled by accessing the Chrome settings and then un-checking the “Enable Phishing and Malware Protection” check box.
Google Chrome browser will send some random information such as information about crashes and anonymous usage statistics to Google. This feature is off by default but if it is on, then you can disable it. Remove the checkmark from the checkbox located next to the “Automatically Send Usage Statistics and Crash Reports to Google” option.
